James L Turner | Web & Graphic Design

A wide spectrum of print, web and digital projects

Since 1997, I’ve been helping companies create and improve their branding and marketing. Working in a variety of creative environments, with clients from Fortune 100 companies to independent artists, I provide creative and effective graphic design for both print and Web.

My personal focus is graphic and website design. I’m accustomed to directing larger projects that may require additional resources (writers, photographers, database programmers, etc.), and I’m just as comfortable as a role player, focusing on specific tasks while working in a team environment.

My goal is to offer a range of design and technical services to help you get your needs met quickly and efficiently.

Good design is no accident. It's hard work. Trial, error, learning, perseverance and most of all, love of what you're doing.

How I got started

I was blessed with a bucket of LEGOs™, which fueled my creativity at an early age. When I entered college I started out pursuing a computer science degree, but halfway through my junior year I realized that design is where my passion truly lies. Those years studying computer science weren’t all wasted – the knowledge applied to website design and interactive projects.

After working at three ad agencies and two Web development start-ups, I began working as James L. Turner Web and Graphic Design in 2004.

Projects are completed with an Apple Mac Pro running the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite. A majority of client projects are completed using ad industry standards: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Wordpress.

I work from an office in Portland, Oregon, and have served clients worldwide. For each project, I determine your specific needs and then personalize my designs to match them. This approach has resulted in happy clients and long-lasting business relationships.
